Perhaps it is the most aromatic Greek spirit. Derived from the Greek, nowadays, reddish grape variety Muscat Hamburg, grown almost exclusively in Thessaly.
Bright with intensely aromatic nose with fruity aromas such as citrus fruits bergamot and bitter orange, kernel fruits like peach jam and dried apricot, floral aromas of rose and herbal hints of mint.
On the palate, it is characterized by mild alcohol, fat body and flavors of candied kumquat, dried apricot and mint with long elegant rosy aftertaste.
Its vivid character makes it ideal for consumption without food pairing and a base spirit for premium cocktails. It pairs well with aromatic, spicy desserts.
